Quick and Easy Summer Makeup Tutorial
Step 1: We really want to make sure that you keep your skin fresh and natural looking. The best way to do this is to spot conceal areas of the face that need to be touched up more than others. Usual places on the skin that need some extra TLC are the under eyes, sides of the nose, around the chin, and anywhere else you might notice a blemish.
You can always apply foundation too, if you need a little more coverage.
Step 2: To get that “sun-kissed” summertime glow, you need to grab your powder and use it along the areas of the face that naturally get the most sun. Apply it along your forehead, cheeks, nose and jaw line. Remember that a little goes a long way, so start with a little bronzer, and if you want more, add away!
Step 3: If you have super dry skin, skip this step! But, for those of you that tend to have a more oily skin-type, listen up! Translucent powder is amazing for setting your foundation and concealer and ensuring that your makeup won’t slide or slip throughout a warm Summer day. Here’s the thing though, you only want to apply in light layers. Do not cake on your translucent powder, because more is just more, and we really want your natural skin to show through.
Step 4: Don’t forget to shape your eyebrows! A gorgeous Summer makeup can instantly look less than great when the brows are not on point. So, shape them up, Beauty! If you don’t know how, we recommend going to see a professional and learning how to make them look the best for you and your face shape.
Step 5: Your eye makeup for this quick and easy Summer makeup tutorial is SUPER-SIMPLE! Just grab your brown eyeliner and trace it lightly along your upper lash line. Then, take your index finger and smudge it to give a slightly smokey eye look.
Step 6: For a pop of glam, add a tiny bit of gold eyeshadow to the inner corners of the eye. You can also add a light layer of gold to your entire eyelid—emphasis on “light.”
Step 7: Now for the good part: you’ll need your black MOXIELASH Magnetic Eyeliner! Just press the precision tip applicator on the inner corner of your eye and trace along your lash line from beginning to end. You want to make sure that the eyeliner is as close to your lash bed as possible. Now for the key part, you need to let your Magnetic Eyeliner dry for three minutes or until it is no longer tacky.
Step 8: While your Magnetic Eyeliner is drying, you can apply your mascara.
Step 9: Nothing says Summer like a natural and dewy makeup look. For an added touch of glam and glow, apply a powder highlight to your upper cheekbones.
