These are the comments and DM’s we get from MoxieLash fans like you that we want to take a moment to talk about. So, read on, and maybe you’ll find exactly the answer you are looking for in the magnetic eyelash department!

Top five magnetic eyeliner and lash questions from customers that we are answering from MoxieLash!

How to Clean Gel Eyeliner Brush??

First, clean your gel eyeliner brush right away in between every use. If you don’t, the formula will dry onto your brush and make it extremely stiff, which will make your future application pretty hard. Not only that, once the gel liner is dry on your brush, you will have a much harder time getting it off.

So, to get your brush really clean in between each use, you’re going to want to wipe it off onto a makeup remover cloth. Or, if you have brush cleaner already, just clean the gel eyeliner residue off with that.

The biggest point here is to clean your brush every single time you use your MoxieLash Magnetic Gel Eyeliner. This way, you can keep and use your brush for a long time— and also so your eyeliner application is flawless.

How to Remove Magnetic Lashes and Eyeliner??

First things first. To make your magnetic lash removal as easy as when you applied them, you need to do something first! Make sure that when you use your magnetic eyeliner, that you let it dry for 2 minutes AND make sure that it is completely dry. You can do the “dry test”— gently touch the liner to see if any residue comes off. If nothing does, then you are good to go.

Make sure that you let your magnetic eyeliner dry for 2 minutes!

Doing this keeps the magnets on your lash band from attaching to the wet liner. You do not want the magnetic eyeliner drying onto your lash band magnets.

If you apply your lashes properly, removal is as simple as lifting the outside edge and gently pulling them off.

To remove your magnetic eyeliner, sweep our Eyeliner Remover Cotton Swabs along your liner, and it will come off. Please DO NOT use the cotton swabs on your MoxieLash lashes as you don’t want to get oil on them at all.

You can also use micellar water to remove your magnetic eyeliner it as well!

What happens if I get magnetic eyeliner on my magnetic lashes?

It’s really important to make sure that you don’t get any makeup on your lashes. But if you do — avoid using ANYTHING oil-based to remove the magnetic liner from lash hairs and lash band magnets as this will ruin them completely.

Instead, use micellar water with a clean cotton swab to gently remove any residue from magnets and lashes.

How do I know what lash to get?

Here is how to know what magnetic eyelash to buy from MoxieLash!

While all of our magnetic eyelash styles work for everyone, we have lashes that are created specifically with different eye shapes in mind. When you go to our eyelash collection page, you can easily find the “eye shape” filter, which gives you four different options to choose from. This will tell you which lashes will work best for you!

What if my lash stops magnetizing to liner?

Each of our lash styles, if taken care of properly, will last you up to 30 days! However, if your lash stops magnetizing onto before then, it’s most likely because there is magnetic eyeliner dried onto the lash band magnets.

If that happens, just use some micellar water with a cotton swab and remove the residue. You can also avoid getting the magnetic eyeliner onto your lash magnets by waiting until your liner is COMPLETELY dry before lock in your lashes. This is usually about 2 minutes.

Once your lash magnets are free and clear from residue — they will work like a charm!
