False Eyelashes: How to Wear Them Correctly?

False Eyelashes

How to use an eyelash curler

To curl the eyelashes, guide your natural eyelashes into the curler and squeeze the curler, hold for a few seconds, release the hold and move the curler a little out and press again. Make sure that the curl of your lashes looks natural and not pressed at an angle.

False Eyelashes Application

Before you begin the application check the length of the eyelash and compare it with your natural lashes, if the length is longer than your natural, snip away the extra length from the outside.

Next, apply the glue on the strip, apply a little extra glue on both the ends. Wait for 10-15 seconds for the glue to settle. Using your fingers or a pair of tweezers, start applying the false eyelashes. Begin application from the inner corner. Make sure that the false lash is applied on the skin just above the natural eyelash line. Gently press the ends and check to see that they are fixed properly and will not come off.

Use the eyelash curler to secure the natural and false eyelashes together. If you are wearing false eyelashes during the day, use a clear mascara to highlight them further. Alternately use a darker mascara if you are wearing false eyelashes at night.

Once the eyelashes are secure, you can complete the look with eyeliner. From basic shades of brown and black, there are a lot of other colour options available on the market. The eyeliner also helps to blend the strip of the false eyelashes.

After Care

Don’t rush through the removal process of false eyelashes, first wipe off the eyeliner and mascara with an eye makeup remover. This will also loosen the grip of the glue. Gently start removing the eyelash from the outer end, carefully clean the eyelash of the mascara and glue residue, and place them in the packing box. Clean the remaining eye makeup and apply an eye cream to hydrate the skin.

Eyelash Care
