The Complete Lash Cluster Map Guide
A lash cluster map is your blueprint for applying individual lash clusters in a strategic pattern to achieve your desired look. Think of it as a customized plan that tells you exactly which lash lengths to place where along your lash line for the perfect style.
Unlike strip lashes that come pre-styled, cluster lashes give you complete creative control. Your lash map determines whether you'll create a natural everyday look, a sultry cat eye, or dramatic doll-eye effect by strategically varying the cluster lengths and placement across your eye.
Why Lash Mapping Matters
Professional lash artists use mapping techniques to ensure symmetry, balance, and the most flattering enhancement for each client's unique eye shape. Now you can use these same professional techniques at home with cluster lashes.

What Lash Map is Best for Your Eye Shape?
Your eye shape is the foundation of your perfect lash map. Here's how to identify your eye shape and which mapping strategies work best for you.
round Eyes
Round eyes have visible white above or below the iris and appear more circular.
Focus longest lengths (14-16mm) in center. Keep corners shorter (10-12mm). Cat eye maps work well.
almond Eyes
Slightly pointed at both ends with visible crease. Most versatile shape.
Any map works beautifully! Experiment with all three signature styles.
hooded Eyes
Fold of skin droops over crease. Brow bone more prominent.
Shorter lengths (10-13mm max). Focus on outer third with lifted cat-eye map.
monolid Eyes
No visible crease. Eyelid appears flat from lash line to brow bone.
Medium lengths (12-14mm) with emphasis on curl. Wispy cat-eye map lifts outer corner beautifully.
downturned Eyes
Outer corners sit lower than inner corners, creating a downward tilt.
Cat-eye maps are essential! Use 14-16mm on outer third angled upward to lift and counteract the tilt.
upturned Eyes
Outer corners naturally lift higher than inner corners, creating sultry look.
Enhance with balanced maps. Natural or doll-eye work beautifully. Avoid extreme cat-eye styles.
